Alan Buck was born on January 14, 1959 near Nashville, Tennessee. Originally trained as a biologist, he now devotes his time to painting in oil and mixed media. Alan travels widely, but works and lives only a few hundred feet from the house in which he was born. His work is displayed at selected dealers in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.
